So as you may recall, I had a really terrible root canal on Monday. I've been having problems with pain since then, and I called the dentist yesterday to find out what to do. First they told me to come in at 8am today, and then they called me back and said no, go straight to endodontist, do not pass go, and the endodontist had a 2pm appt that day. ( Read more... )

I bruise easily, and always have. Some of it's my tendency toward anemia, some of it's just me. So it's not uncommon for me to end up with random bruises I don't remember getting.

So I went to urgent care yesterday, and they told me I've sprained my foot (possibly it was my ankle; I'm a little unclear) and to RICE it. (Rest, ice, compression, elevation). They gave me an ace bandage that I still have wrapped around my ankle, and a gel splint/cast thing that I took off when I got home because it wasn't that comfortable, and ( Read more... )

I have screwed up my right foot. My best guess, based on where it hurts (top right side of my foot, up toward my ankle and then down to about mid-foot), is that I strained something, maybe when I was walking oddly to compensate for the raw spots on my feet?
